Okay, so this may sound a little weird, but one of the first things that ran through my m
ind when they announced Grant was a boy, was this little saying that I saw in an Uppercase Living catalog...(side note...if you've never heard of or seen Uppercase Living, you need to look it up. They're expressions to put your walls or wherever that are awesome with a capital A...end of unpaid advertisement) Anyway, it said:Because I Have a Brother, I Always Have a Friend
Isn't that the sweetest? Well these two are well off to being the best of buds. Just recently, since Grant's started being mobile, have they started "playing" together. Landon is such a good big brother to Grant....most of the time.

Then sometimes, he reminds me of a little song we have on a cd in the car that's sung to the tune of "What Should We Do With the Drunken Sailor" ...ummm maybe a little inappropriate, but that's the tune. It goes:
What can you do with your baby brother?
What can you do with your baby brother?
What can you do with your baby brother, ear-lie in the morning?
Hug him and kiss him when your mama's lookin'.
Hug him and kiss him when your mama's lookin'.
Hug him and kiss him when your mama's lookin, ear-lie in the morning?
The next verse is "Fix his hair in a pretty pink ribbon"....you get the idea.

Landon sometimes gets a little carried away when it comes to "helping" Grant. He tries to pick him up and tends to squeeze him a little harder than a comfortable hug.
MOST of the time though, he's super helpful. He talks to Grant like we talk to him, with that "sweet pea" kind of voice. He brings him toys and reads him stories. Since he's started eating a little table food, Landon offers to share whatever he has. And he's so good about asking if Grant can have it. Yesterday he had Teddy Grahams and he even broke a small piece off a teddy for Grant instead of giving him the whole thing. So sweet. Melts my he
art.

While they may be brothers and they definitely have their similarities, these two are quite different in some ways. Case in point: RHS football game. Grant on left. Landon on right. Grant's like whatever, I'm chillin, I'm havin a good time. Landon's got his ears plug and is silently taking everything in. FUNNY. Landon was absolutely terrified to ride the merry go round at the zoo a few weeks ago. Grant is climbing out of his high chair and standing on the tray. Yeah...a little different.
Here they are at the first soccer game of the season. Bout time I get this on, since soccer season ended last week. Geesh.
A couple of brother videos. Them horsing around and chasing each other around the circle in the dining room, and Grant going for his first Gator ride with Landon at the wheel! Hang on Grant!
