After a little lunch, ready to go!
Grant heeding caution that the mini horse could bite with his hands behind his back. ha ha!
Our child the model in making. Seriously....what the heck is this?
Hooray for Budweiser! Lol!
And more posing....
Macaws and owls, oh my!
Carousel...Kristi drew the short stick and rode with the kids. Actually she volunteered, and we let her.
...and then on to the real attraction, feeding those baby goats!
We did a little outside the fence feeding to warm up
And then, we went in. Here's Chad leading the way to the back corner where the less aggressive babies hang out.
All the kids did great! It wasn't Charli and Blake's first time in the goat pin. But our rookies did awesome. No one was knocked down or trampled, and there were smiles all around.
Chad got stuck double fisting with a whole herd. This may be one of my favorite pictures.
Hand washing station? YES PLEASE!
And then we visited the llamas. 'llama, llama, where are your red pajamas?!'
...and your tooth brush! My goodness sir.
The boys in line for snow cones...Landon was reading the flavor choices to Grant. :)
to good friends, and colored tongues. Cheers!
We got Mexican take out, the Coppernolls got us hooked on Homeland (a TV series) and the kids cashed out on the floor. The next day we left the kiddos with Phil and Kristi and went to the game with Scott and Kellse. Where we lost a little faith in the people of St. Louis after about 15 people ran onto the field and were arrested....Seriously?! Yes. Seriously. That night we went out in St. Charles and had a great time. And the next morning Chad and Scott were asked if they were twins at the Embassy. Chad was pumped...I'm sure Scotty was not. :) Something tells me that's probably not the last time they'll been asked that question.
