The day after we returned from our "vocation" we started celebrating the trifecta August Birthday Week. Chad's birthday we went to get new phones, which we had planned on doing a few other times and it just never got done. He got a new money clip and two new shirt and tie ensembles from me and the boys. That night we left the boys with his mom and dad and met Scotty downtown so Chad could get his "birthday drinks." There are a couple of establishments downtown where you get a free drink on your birthday, and Chad is so thrifty it breaks his heart to miss out on that. We then met the fam at Bella Milano for Laura and Matt's rehearsal dinner. YUMM-O!
Big Scott's birthday was Monday, but he was out of town for work. Poor guy. It was his "21st" so there was a party just last weekend. Here are Uncle Stallion and Landon, BOTH having a good time.

On Scotty's birthday the fam went out for dinner, while I went with Lindsey to see the Lady Antebellum concert at the State Fair. More about this later, but turns out, we should've just went to dinner with the fam. Sunday we had the big birthday dinner/cake and ice cream. Here's Landon and Abby enjoying their cake and Grant amusing himself with tissue paper.

How funny is this picture?! She's blowing out candles....I think this will show up on a graduation or wedding slideshow in
the future, and she'll LOVE it.

Here's to another year of livin the dream, Kutscher/Mehring men!
