Doctors On Call

Here's Landon with two of the many doctors taking care of him. :) Dr. "Bear"on (named after our Springfield urologist, and sent by Nick and Nate in California) and Dr. Coplen (named after the hero of the doc who's taking care of him now, and bought by Ponch and Am and family).

Landon's been resting all day. He's opened his eyes a few times but still is very comfy. He has an epidural for the pain, so he won't have to take as much morphine, or other drugs that cause icky side effects. He woke up for a few minutes earlier this evening...long enough to eat a popsicle, which he put a death grip on. The first thing he noticed when he opened his eyes was the "big balloon" that Emily sent. He asked for juice, but when he was offered a popsicle ditched the juice in a heart beat. He was only awake for a little while, but long enough to make us feel better. We definitely want him to rest, but it's nice to see a glimpse of our Landon.
THANKS SO MUCH to everyone for their thoughts, prayers, well wishes, presence, phone calls, texts, EVERYTHING. You never know why things like this happen, but God knew we could handle this because of all of you. Good comes from everything, and we're all going to come out of this much stronger. Our faith's stronger, our love for each other is stronger, and we already have a whole new out look on life and what really matters.
More to come tomorrow....but first some rest....we hope. :)

What a brave little man you have! So happy to hear that the operation was a success and I just know that it will be all good news from here on out. I'm glad that Emily's balloon made it to him, she was really hoping that it would!

I've been a praying machine today and Landon was the first thing on my mind when I woke up. Our prayers will continue to be with you all!

Dear Megan and Chad,
Just wanted to let you know that we have been praying for you guys too. Actually, the Riverton Methodist Church has been as well:)

I was trying to explain to Ben that Landon is sick and that we should say a prayer for him and Ben said "Yes, he hurt his butt". Thinking about when Landon fell off the merry-go-round at the park:)

Let us know if you need any help with stuff around the house. I can send JT over to mow or something-whatever just call us:)
Love,
Anne, JT, Ben and Jack

It sounds like Landon is quite the trooper! We are so happy to hear that the surgery went well. We will continue to pray for Landon's speedy recovery. If you need anything at all please let us know. I do think you should take Anne A. up on the offer and have JT mow your lawn...:)

Hey girl!
I, too, am so thankful for this blog. We don't have internet at home, but my sister's been checking it for me in the evenings & keeping me posted.

I wish I lived closer so I could offer some kind of assistance. Just know that we are praying for all of you and thinking about you alot.

Now that Landon is through the worst part, my biggest concern is YOU. Please take care of yourself and get plenty of rest whenever you can.

Love,
Courtney
