We headed down for our regular 3 month check up at Children's in October. We got the clean bill of health that we're always so thankful to get! But before the appointment we made a weekend of it. Had dinner and caught up with Rob, Julie, Paige and Scott....the kids had a blast! (and so did the adults, we were just quieter about it)
Then we stayed in Fairview Saturday night...got up the next morning and did a little window shopping at a couple of furniture stores. Here are the boys decked out in their Cardinal wear since they were playing to clench the penant that night.
We had lunch at LottaWatta Creek...one of our favorites that we miss. Looks like it's a good thing that we don't live here because Chad ordered a 'heart attack burger'. Yeah that's a half pound patty fried, topped with 8 pieces of cheese, battered then deep fried. Made me ill looking at it. He split it into two meals...and did lots of running to make up for it.

After we hit Garden Ridge we went to Uncle Michael's where we enjoyed the beautiful weather on his roof top deck (okay really we just ran out there to check it out) before heading to the circus. We saw Ring Ling Brothers 'Fully Charged' and let me tell ya....fitting name. We were 'fully charged' for a drink when we left. I think Chad is still singing the 'Fully Charged' song. Landon kept asking when we were going to see the Blues and Grant kept saying 'hock! hock!' So I think next time we return to the Savvis Center it'll be to see a Blues Game. The elephants were impressive though!!
