This year was the first year Chad and I dressed up for Halloween. We went to the Sandercock's Annual Halloween Bash (partially due to the early ending soccer season) as Ron Burgundy and Veronica Corningstone from the movie Anchorman. Chad's costume was awesome...I just tagged along mostly. :) And here are Scotty and Kellse as the Yoders...Scotty not smiling in true Amish fashion. Uncle Stallion also made a guest appearance at the party, but I shall not post pictures of his costume because this is a family blog. ;) He was entertaining as ALWAYS.
So now onto the people Halloween is truly for...the little guys. So our costumes weren't up to par compared to last year's Willy Wonka and Oompa Loompa. But you can't hit a homerun everytime you're up to bat, ya know? This year Grant wore a monkey costume, which we deemed Curious George, and Landon was the Man with the Yellow Hat. Grant loved wearing his costume, and in fact the week after Halloween kept picking it up off the floor in the laundry room and dragging it in to us wanting it on. Notice the binky....there will be more posts on this I'm sure...but the days of the bink are numbered. We're gonna have to implement an intervention. This kid is an addict.

Here's George and The Man on the front step, with our giant pumpkin and the little ones they each chose too. Crying shame that we didn't even carve that big guy. I'm so disappointed in us. Time is a huge issue in October. There's no excuse though.

and here are the boys 'racing' on her deer in the front yard just for old time's sake. Landon used to say that one of the deer was faster than the other, and totally cracked me up.

It's Caleb the postman!

...and Abby-ca-Dabby and her Pumpkin!

After a quick stop by the Sandercock's, the Eck's, and the Stephen's we made our way to our final stop...Grandpa and Grandma's.

It probably was a bird or plane.

Where after we ate some pizza and got MORE treats we sang a belated Happy Birthday to Grandma!

Grant slept through the night...(the only night he had since we moved) from a self induced (and parent allowed...oops) sugar coma. It all worked out though. We got a solid 7! Best Halloween present I could think of!
