Congratulations Zach and Brooke!!

Landon had the huge of honor of being the ring bearer in Zach and Brooke's wedding Memorial Day weekend. We weren't really sure how he'd do since he teetered back and forth between being excited about and saying he 'wasn't going to do it.' But good news, he was a star! Perfect performance! The night of the rehearsal he was all ready to go...very into his responsibilities as a ring bearer. It did really help to have a couple of guys up front that he knew pretty well. Then he hit it off with one of the flower girls and we were golden!

We had to call in for back up after the rehearsal. Grant was a handful (shouldn't have been a surprise) but when we heard there would be a cocktail hour before dinner was served, we threw up the white flag and called in Grandpa and Grandma. Grant then enjoyed dinner at Denny's while the rest of us stayed at the rehearsal dinner. Everyone wins! Landon announced on our way up to get food that he did not want to hold my hand, but wanted to hold Chloe's hand instead...(his new bff, the flower girl) They were pretty cute playing together. Zach and Brooke gave him a new Cars Wii game and the night came to a close.

The next day we suited him up and he hung with the big boys while waiting for the wedding to start. Here he is with one of the best men, the brother of the groom, Colton.
and with the other best man, Matt and the groom.

Zach, practicing for the kiss? Not sure what's going on here....see this is what happens when you leave boys in charge of the camera. ;)

Then the wedding started, here's a picture I snapped of Landon walking up the aisle and I'm so bummed I didn't keep the camera out for 10 more seconds. Because as he got to the front, Zach bent down and held out his fist and him and Landon bumped knuckles. It was super cute and I missed it. Boo.

Landon announced as the began the vows that he HAD to pee. I tried to talk him into hanging tough, but he insisted he needed to go and since we didn't have a back up suit, we paraded out to the bathroom. Oh well, he's four. Here he is at the reception...notice there are only two petals left on his flower. We were a little rough on the fleur.

A pic of the family...and Grant's a blur because he's a wiggle worm. :)

Landon showing off his candy bracelet from the candy table...which was the hit of the night at our table of course. Landon later removed his partially eaten bracelet and put it on Kellse, (Uncle Scotty's girlfriend). I gotta say, Kellse, that's pretty impressive that you wore that thing...slobbers and all. Maybe that's why you've earned Landon's title for you: MY Kellse. :) And Uncle Scotty, taking his share of slobbers, too, from the stickiest kid we've got.

Here's Zach and Landon before the wedding....and the classic, Landon with the happy couple the day after he was born.

Congratulations, Zach and Brooke! We wish you a lifetime of happiness, love, and heart-warming memories!!
