We got a late start on getting our halls decked this year. Probably because I just wasn't there mentally. In my head, it was August...I was in beginning the school year mode, not Christmas. I got there pretty quickly though. First tree up: Star Wars of course...and I enlisted my crew of elves to help. They're an intimidating crew. (I think that's the unforunate WWE influence we're seeing here.)
And I will be adding that pic....as soon as I upload it from my phone.

And while nursing that adorable elf, these bigger ones took over on tree erecting....'don't worry mom...we got this....until it gets oh...about 5 feet tall, then we're out.'
The biggest elf in the house....he doesn't really get into the hall decking. I wouldn't say he's an 'angry elf',' but he's just not that into it.
....and the furry elf....he's just pumped that it's finally cool enough to get the electric blanket back out on the couch.
