Last year for the Easter, the Easter Bunny brought a Butterfly kit, but with the uncertainty of the move and what not last spring/summer we didn't attempt any caterpillar/butterfly responsibilities. So this year as soon as we got back from our Gulf Shores vacay we ordered our caterpillars. Landon was less than impressed with them and really wasn't even that pumped when they came out of their cocoons the morning we left for Chicago. We left some nice sugar water for them to feast on while we were gone for the weekend and when we returned we set them loose in Russ and Beth's (our neighbors) flower garden near the butterfly bushes. I thought it was pretty cool....Landon was eh about it. :)
