Cereal! But This Mikey Doesn't Like It

Grant had a big week of firsts this week. At his four month appointment on Monday, he was 25" long and weighed 15 pounds and 12 ozs. Our pediatrician was really impressed by how much he "talks" and how strong he is. Monday night after we had been given the green light, Grant had his first experience with cereal. It seemed, at the beginning, that he liked rice....see first two pictures. The rest of the week, however, the rice went down more like the last picture...not so well. To get one bite down you had to put it in around four times. Feeding him was a two man operation...one person to operate the spoon, the other to hold down his hands and keep him from blocking the cereal en route to his mouth.

Here are a couple of Grant videos from the week. We had plenty more going on this week, but it's 10:15 and I'm exhausted. Our weeks are getting so exciting that it's an overwhelming task to blog in a week summary form, so I'm thinking I may just start blogging events for awhile and see how that goes. Any who....sorry to bore you with my thoughts...enjoy Grant, in his "Mikey DOESN'T like it" video. :( In the second video though, you'll see that cereal isn't ruining his disposition though.
