So yes all of the adults in the house weren't in tip top shape Friday morning. We had decided we weren't getting up and doing another long day in the parks anyway. By the time we got everything packed up for our departure the next morning and got ready to go, it was 3:00 before we got to the park...which was fine by all of us.
When we got there we hit up the Agent P stand to get a phone for a mystery mission with Perry the Platypus from Phineas and Ferb. I'm sure this would've been super fun if:
a) we could've had more than one phone (separate phones meant separate missions...no thanks)
b) we could've heard the clues they were saying on the phone (live bands and crying little brothers not getting a turn to hold the phones prevented this from happening)
c) it wouldn't have been 118 degrees
d) it wouldn't have been our 5th day in being in the 118 degree heat
Okay, character meet and greet check, on to the countries of the world! When we go back to Disney, we'll definitely spend more time at Epcot. We loved it. The countries were super cool and had so many cool things to see. Plus the live music was cool, too! I have to be honest, given the heat and the condition of my stomach from the past evening's events, I wasn't whole heartedly into Epcot. Here are a few random photos here that I did manage to snap. Very unorganized and haphazard though. I'm disappointed in myself. I fought 5 Days of Disney and on the 5th day Disney won.
Chad and Phil not going down without a fight! Hey, they were in Germany, they were drinking German beer.
Okay, highlight in Japan, Kristi and Charli did the choose a clam and set the pearl inside into jewelry. Loved it! What fun...plus great memento from the trip!
Landon really enjoyed watching the jeweler set the pearls into different types of jewelry. I love this picture of him...surrounded by women, who ironically seem to be Japanese!...and he's just focused. He had questions about the job of a jeweler when we left. Could they only be girls? Do they only put pearls in jewelry? He was genuinely interested.
My boys in their England and Scotland jerseys...waiting for the setting of the pearls. :)
And then we decided (
from Tressa's recommendation) to get some fish and chips in England.
Yeah. NOT. Happy.
As Kristi pointed out though, it could be worse. He could be letting the whole park know he's miffed...instead he finds it sufficient to let us know silently by his face. I can appreciate that.
Here's Landon eating some fish and chips in England, in his England jersey. Talk about a photo opp!
Blake played some soccer on Chad's phone while some of us ate.

Landon bought a present for his teacher at the shop coming out of the Nemo ride. Mrs. May taught Landon a lot about our oceans...so much so that they're on his permanent thank you list at the end of his bed time prayer. Mrs. May has a soft spot for sea turtles so it was very easy to find her something. :) Here's Landon with her present in the stroller....and. that. is. the. last. picture. in. Disney.
We took off that night before seeing the fireworks. We were wiped out and were happy with fireworks at Magic Kingdom. Hey, gotta leave some of this exciting stuff for our next Disney trip, right Chad?! :)
