Grant Jeffrey is 6!

Grant celebrated his 6th birthday on a Wednesday.  He had a birthday pancake for breakfast and then just a regular old school day, but with a crown and fruit by the foot birthday treats for the class, and a couple of cookies left from his party the weekend before.  :)

g

He decided instead of going out to dinner, he'd rather stay home and have pizza.  (I'm not gonna lie, my eyes lit up)  So the birthday boy got his dinner wish granted, complete with Uncle Stallion, Aunt Kelly, Abby, and Sophia.

Here are his birthday interview questions.  I'm adding my comments though too of course.

favorite color:  orange and blue  (news to me...but didn't know what to expect the answer to be)

fruit: blueberries (true....the boy can down a whole carton if you turn your back 45 seconds.  He can also do a mean job on an apple...all the way to the core...if he's in the mood)

movie:   the Wiggles  (HUH?!?!  I would say Space Jam, and any Charlie Brown movie gets a million times more air time here than the stinkin' Wiggles.  And for that I'm thankful.)

tv show:  PAW Patrol  (accurate...he's a fan.  He also watches a lot of Jessie and the Thundermans but normally at the leadership helm of boy #1)

thing to wear:  sweatshirt and pants  (This kid HATES jeans.  He will tolerate them only for special occasions like church, dinners out, etc when there is NO OTHER CHOICE GIVEN.  And as soon as we get home from said event, you can find his jeans wadded up on the floor next to his laundry basket and he's in a pair of sweatpants.  Sigh.)

game:  MLB 15  (probably true again.  The kids have gotten too much video game time since it's been nasty out.  That must be curbed...ASAP.  He also enjoys his Snoopy Chutes and Ladders game, Zingo, and the Game of Life)

toy:  baseball guys  (This kid plays sports NON STOP.  And he's not really prejudiced for a specific sport.  He plays with all of our 'guys' (baseball, soccer, hockey, football, basketball) and when he's not playing with them he's pretending to actually play the sport, sometimes with a fake ball.  He also can often be found integrating his PAW Patrol guys into his game with the sports guys.  Those are my faves.)

snack: cookies  (He eats constantly.  He likes everything.  He pretends he doesn't need to ask for snacks and just helps himself.  He's going to be expensive in the near future. )

animal: puppy  (and he's partial to ONE in particular.  Well, okay, maybe two...Auggie and Snoopy)

drink:  lemonade  (he also will drink an occasional soda, but again when boy #1 is leading.  He also drinks milk still, but only with strawberry or vanilla flavoring.)

holiday:  Valentine's Day  (probably because we just celebrated it)

thing to take to bed:  Snoopy, Piggie and Gerald (he also still sleeps with his green blanket, and really has an array of Snoopys that can be found close by.)

breakfast:  pancakes  (probably true.  He also loves chocolate chip waffles, muffins, donuts, and sometimes pop-tarts

when you grow up:  teacher (Insert terrified face here.  This is news to me....and must be changed)

thing to do with Daddy:  wrestle  (ugh.  True...it gets wild in here)

thing to do with Landon:  play PlayStation

with Mommy:  snuggle  (because that's all I've been good for as of late ;)

best friend:  Lauren

best thing about kindergarten:  lunch  (ha!  He is LOVING eating school lunch, too, which I'm a huge fan of.  He's eating chicken nuggets, chicken strips, or popcorn chicken FIVE DAYS A WEEK, but I guess there are worse things.)

Cupcake mugs!
